It looks like Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has a new career.
According to Editor and Publisher, Asa Hutchinson has been hired by the news organization Scipps News to serve as a news analyst. They’re hiring him specifically to talk about 2024 elections.
Asa Hutchinson Lands New Job
Asa Hutchinson landed the job as a political analyst and will join Scripps News every Monday on “The Race” to talk about how politics impacts people’s daily lives in 2024.
Hutchinson made his initial debut on Monday, April 22.
Hutchinson released a statement about his new career:
“I am excited to be part of the Scripps News team as we head into one of the most consequential elections in history. Scripps News is committed to balance in its coverage of politics, and that is what America needs at this critical moment.”
The news comes weeks after we initially heard reports that Asa Hutchinson was considering a role as president of one of Arkansas’ top colleges.
