Get ready for a rock-filled tribute and family fun — the North Central Arkansas Amphitheater Family Picnic is set for Saturday, September 20th, from noon to midnight at Grayson Farms in Bald Knob. Held at the North Central Arkansas Amphitheater at 241 Prince Cemetery Road in Bald Knob, the event honors Metallica’s first Arkansas performance with eight bands each playing a tribute to Metallica, who appeared at North Central Arkansas Amphitheater. Admission is free, with a requested $10 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is encouraged. Parking is $5 per vehicle, with camping available for $10 and RV electric for $40.
