The Jacksonville Police Department in Arkansas is urgently requesting assistance in finding 16-year-old Kataya Verdun, who has been missing since May 12, 2025. She was last seen at her residence, prompting immediate concern for her safety. You can view her photograph below.
16 Year Old Girl Was Wearing SpongeBob Sliders Before Going Missing
Kataya is described as a white female, standing 5’9″ tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds. She has blonde hair, brown eyes, and was wearing silver hoop earrings and a red ruby ring on her right middle finger.
At the time of her disappearance, Kataya was dressed in a blue hoodie, black pants, and SpongeBob sliders. She was also carrying a Fortnite backpack, which could aid in identifying her.
The police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Hernandez at (501) 982-3191 ext. 6476, referencing report number 25-02290. Time is critical, as Kataya has been missing for over 48 hours as of May 14, 2025.
Kataya’s family and local authorities are deeply worried, and the Jacksonville community is encouraged to help bring her home safely. Any small detail could make a significant difference in the search.
