He’s accused of targeting a store in Arkansas with an accomplice.
Elmer Lee Johnston, a 45-year-old resident of Greenbrier, Arkansas, was arrested on May 10, 2025, at 10:28 p.m. He faces two counts of theft of property, classified as Class D felonies. Details were confirmed by Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office.
Greenbrier Man Arrested
According to case files, the charges stem from incidents on April 18 and April 20, 2025, at Patton One Stop in Wooster. Store owner reported the thefts, reportedly identifying Johnston through surveillance footage and photographs.
On April 18, Johnston allegedly stole 18 Bic lighters from a display near the store’s exit. Two days later, he and an alleged accomplice took two vape products from behind the counter.
Johnston has two prior theft convictions, and McQueen has two previous theft arrests. Neither suspect was in custody at the time of the initial report on April 21, 2025.
The Faulkner County Circuit Court found probable cause for Johnston’s arrest. He is currently awaiting further legal proceedings for the charges.
