Arkansas Suspect Fled On Four-wheeler After Burglary In Shirley, Arkansas
On February 22, 2025, at around 5 a.m., the ExxonMobil convenience store in Shirley was burglarized. The suspect, a white male in a tan jacket with a hood and blue jeans, was captured on video surveillance. You can view photos of the suspect below.
Burglary Suspect Fled On Four-Wheeler In Shirley, Arkansas
The individual has been identified as Daniel Barnett, a Shirley resident. Barnett was already wanted by the Arkansas Board of Parole for a violation.
On February 26, 2025, deputies from the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals tried to apprehend Barnett at a residence on Fawn Bluff Road. He fled on foot and was later seen stealing a red Can-Am four-wheeler from a nearby home.
Authorities are still searching for Barnett and the stolen vehicle. The incident has heightened local security concerns.
