A horrifying incident has been reported in Russell, Arkansas, a small city of around 200 people that’s approximately 18 minutes drive from Searcy, Arkansas.
Jimmy Aron Little, 45, has been accused of breaking into a residence and assaulting the occupant. White County Sheriff’s Office confirms that he has been arrested on January 30th, 2025 months after the incident occurred last August.
Burglar Suspect Allegedly Beat Man With Flashlight During Break-In
According to case files, Jimmy Little reportedly entered the home of Kyler Gregory through an unlocked door while Gregory was asleep. Gregory was then reportedly awakened to find Little wielding a flashlight, which he then used to strike Gregory during their alleged altercation.
Gregory suffered minor injuries from the attack, but managed to push Little out of his home.
Little reportedly fled the scene on foot after the assault.
Little faces charges of Residential Burglary, a Class B Felony, and Battery in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. His history as a habitual offender, with previous convictions, adds to the severity of his current charges.
On January 30, 2025, at 3:48 PM, a 45-year-old white male from McRae, AR, was arrested facing multiple charges including Terroristic Threatening and Residential Burglary.
He is also charged with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons, Parole Violation, and two counts of Criminal Mischief, with a bond set at $25,000.
