It all started on December 13th.

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of a possible suspect in a case they were researching. After they released her photograph, they learned that she was actually one of the victims in the case. You can view her photograph below that was released by police.

Possible Suspect Turns Out To Be Victim Herself

After police initially asked for the public’s help identifying the woman, they later learned she was a victim herself.

Initially, Benton County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance. They wrote:

“The Bentonville Police Department is attempting to identify the individual in the photo below. She is known to use an alias on social media, but we are seeking her real name for further investigation.”

They released an update, writing:

“Bentonville Police Department has been able to identify this person. In fact, they were able to determine she was a victim in a case they are currently working.”

No further details have been released at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
