A large fire was spotted on the roof of a building in Jonesboro.

That’s when emergency responders were called in.

On November 21, 2024, at 3:09 PM, the Jonesboro Fire Department was called to a fire at 9701 E Highland Dr. Heavy smoke and flames were visible from the roof when firefighters arrived. You can view photos of the aftermath below.

Four engine companies, two truck companies, and two battalion chiefs responded promptly.

The fire was swiftly tackled using an elevated master stream from Truck 1, with crews then focusing on extinguishing remaining hotspots.
