Shots have been fired in a deadly encounter involving a missing juvenile in Lonoke County, Arkansas at 1:12 am on October 8th.

According to a statement by the Lonoke County Sherriff’s Office, a search for a missing juvenile led to a deadly conflict involving the murder of someone. The father has been arrested after he allegedly shot and murdered the person who was found with the juvenile.

Shots Fired After Conflict Involving Missing Juvenile

In the early hours of October 8th, 2024, a missing juvenile call led Lonoke County deputies to HWY 236 East. While they were still making their way to the scene, the juvenile’s father, Aaron Spencer, found his child with a man named Michael Fosler.

A deadly conflict between the father and Fosler ensued.

The confrontation ended with gunfire, leaving Fosler dead at the scene. Deputies quickly arrested Spencer on the spot.

He now faces a first-degree murder charge, which is a Class Y felony. He is being detained at Lonoke County Detention Center. The case is under active investigation, with due process emphasized for all involved.
