A heartbreaking accident has happened in rural Faulkner County.
The Arkansas State Police have released details after a driver was reportedly ejected from his vehicle after being hit in Greenbrier, Arkansas. Only one of the drivers has been identified so far.
Tragic Crash Reported In Greenbrier, Arkansas
On September 26, 2024, at 6:21 AM, the tragic collision occurred on U.S. Highway 65N in Greenbrier. Vehicle 1 was southbound and attempted a left turn into a driveway but crossed into the path of Vehicle 2, traveling northbound.
Vehicle 2, driven by Curtis C. Childress, crashed into the right rear of Vehicle 1 after it entered his lane. The impact was severe, causing Mr. Childress to be ejected from his vehicle.
Sadly, Curtis C. Childress succumbed to his injuries. The driver of Vehicle 1 remains unidentified. The injured driver was rushed to UAMS in Little Rock.
No further details have been released at this time.
