Things are getting shaky in Arkansas.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a small earthquake was registered at 10:00pm near Bull Shoals Lake in Marion County. It was a 2.5 magnitude quake and happened over 20 miles away from Harrison, Arkansas.
The event was 30 miles east of Branson. It reportedly happened on the 13th of August.
Although most magnitude 3 earthquakes cannot be felt, there’s still a possibility that same can be felt if conditions are right. It happening so close to a vacation tourist destination makes the event even more significant.
Have you felt the earthquake? Feel free to report it on the USGS Website.
