They’ve been granted special permission!
Our sources confirm that the Searcy City Council has approved an ordinance allowing Fuji of Searcy Inc., operating as Fuji Japanese Steakhouse, to apply for a private club permit with the Alcohol Beverage Control Division.
The ordinance included an emergency clause, which was also passed. Council Member Dale Brewer was absent from the meeting, and the only council member who voted against the ordinance was Mike Chalenburg.
This means Fuji Japanese Steakhouse will be able to serve adult beverages to guests, if their application is accepted. Fugi Japanese Steakhouse is currently in the middle of building a new location near Beebe-Capps.
