They’re honoring an office who fell in the line of duty.
Rick Finley, a Batesville native who was killed in the line of duty while he was a special agent, will be honored tomorrow afternoon at the Old Independence Regional Museum at 1 o’clock. The museum is at 380 South 9th Street.
This event is taking place during National Police Week. It is an annual observance to remember and pay tribute to law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
