The 150th Kentucky Derby is tomorrow with Texarkana, Arkansas connection as racehorse Honor Marie makes his debut, trained by Whit Beckman and ridden by Ben Curtis.
Honor Marie, a three-year-old colt, was a Christmas gift from Alan Ribble to his wife, named after his sire, Honor Code, and dam, Dame Marie.
Adding to the Derby’s cultural flavor, Wynonna from Ashland, Kentucky, will sing the national anthem, promising to enhance the event’s spirit and pride.
