An eclipse nightmare scenario!
According to The New York Post, a tourist arrived by private plane to Arkansas to watch the eclipse. After the eclipse was over, they tried flying home, but crashed their plane just moments after takeoff.
Arkansas Plane Crash Happens Moments After Eclipse
Four people were aboard a plane in Clarksville, Arkansas headed home when their plane crashed moments after take-off. Although nobody was killed, there were injuries requiring the passengers to be transported to the local hospital.
The plane travelers came to Arkansas to watch the eclipse. Airport manager Jim Looney told The Post that the plane crashed within just 2 minutes of leaving the airport headed home.
Looney says that at least 15 small planes arrived in Arkansas for the eclipse. But these types of plane crashes are unusual during such a historic moment during an eclipse.
