Big things have small beginnings.

According to KAIT8, Arkansas gas prices just had a noticeable change for the better this April. Gas prices are finally going down after months of steady increases weekly. While prices are still high, it gives hope for future decreases.

Gas Prices Going Down

According to a gas price analyst at GasBuddy, the average gas price fell in Arkansas 3.5 cents in the last week. It’s now hovering at $3.13 a gallon.

Patrick De Haan, who is the head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, says that the we’re probably going to see gas prices go down again soon:

“So long as we don’t see extenuating circumstances, we’re likely close to a top in prices, Let’s hope it pans out and sticks.”

Here are the following weekly and monthly gas prices for Arkansas recently according to Way.com:

Regular Mid-Grade
Week Ago Avg. $3.36 $3.64
Month Ago Avg. $3.26 $3.58
Year Ago Avg. $3.37 $3.65

As you can see, gas prices at $3.13 a gallon is a huge improvement compared to previous prices. Hopefully, we’ll see those prices go down.
