SUMMARY:John Prine Folk Festival Returns To Mountain View June 19-20
DESCRIPTION:Fans of legendary singer-songwriter John Prine are invited to celebrate his music and legacy during the John Prine Folk Festival June 19 and 20 at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View. \n \nThe 2-day festival will feature performances by members of the Prine family\, friends\, and award-winning songwriters at the Ozark Highlands Theater beginning at 7 PM each evening. \nFriday night’s lineup includes Pam Setser\, Otis Gibbs\, and Keith Sykes. Saturday’s performances will feature Tommy Prine\, Pat McLaughlin\, and Shawn Camp. \nFestival admission also includes access to the Ozark Folk Center Craft Village and Gardens from 10 AM until 5 PM daily. Visitors can enjoy live music\, traditional craft demonstrations\, and family-friendly activities throughout the day. \nThe Prine Family Foundation will present special John Prine concert documentaries each afternoon at 2 PM inside the theater. “You Got Gold” will be shown Friday\, while “How Lucky Can One Man Get” will be featured Saturday. \nThe festival extends beyond the Ozark Folk Center on Saturday with a free Trout Fishing Beginner Class presented by Arkansas Game and Fish from 10 AM until Noon at Jack’s Resort on the White River. \nOrganizers say the event celebrates the life\, music\, and storytelling legacy of one of America’s most beloved songwriters while bringing together fans from across Arkansas and beyond. \nTickets for the festival and documentary screenings are available at Tickets.OzarkFolkCenter.com. \nHAVE INFORMATION YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE with the ArkansasRadio.com radio stations?
