DESCRIPTION:Students across the state are being reminded that the deadline to apply for the Advancing Careers in Transportation Scholarship is fast approaching on April 1. \n \nThe scholarship\, offered through the Arkansas Community Foundation\, supports students planning careers in Arkansas’s transportation industry\, including highways and bridges\, aviation\, railways\, waterways\, and pipelines. \nEligible applicants include graduating high school seniors and current students enrolled in an Arkansas trade school\, college\, or university. Both full-time and part-time students may apply with a minimum 2.5 GPA. \nOfficials say the program supports a wide range of career paths\, including engineering\, business\, finance\, administration\, and skilled trades. \nStudents can apply online at arcf.org/scholarships before the April 1 deadline.
