Lister has worked alongside Arkansas Game and Fish Commission biologists to help improve the lake’s fishery and has even held a world record walleye. \nThe seminar will take place at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center located at 110 Lost Creek Parkway. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m. \nOrganizers say the evening will include fishing tips\, lake history\, outdoor stories\, door prizes\, and family-friendly fun. DESCRIPTION:One of Arkansas’ largest lakeside Independence Day celebrations is returning to Greers Ferry Lake as Patriot Fest in the Bay takes place July 4 at Fairfield Bay Marina in Fairfield Bay Arkansas. \n \nThe celebration begins with the Lion’s Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the Lion’s Club followed by the Spirit of America Parade at 9 AM through Fairfield Bay. \nVisitors can enjoy Bar-B-Que at the marina beginning at 11 AM along with kayaks\, boat rentals\, and the Sugar Loaf Shuttle for a full day of family fun on Greers Ferry Lake. \nSaturday evening entertainment features live music from the Zac Dunlap Band from 7 PM until 9 PM at the marina. \nOrganizers are also offering reserved barge rides for guests wanting a premium fireworks viewing experience.
