DESCRIPTION:The Ozark Folk Center State Park will host the annual Dulcimer Jamboree on April 24-25\, 2026\, featuring concerts and the Southern Regional Dulcimer Championship Contests. \nSteve Eulberg\nThe event celebrates the rich musical heritage of the Ozarks\, highlighting both mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer traditions with performances from some of the top players in the nation. \nConcerts will be held at the Ozark Highlands Theater from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. both nights\, featuring performers including Steve Eulberg\, Colin Beasley\, Kara Barnard\, Rick Thum\, Katie Moritz\, Don Pedi\, and Jess Dickinson. \nThe Southern Regional Dulcimer Championships\, sponsored by the Committee of One Hundred\, are free to attend\, with competitions scheduled Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. \nOfficials say the event continues a long-standing tradition of preserving Ozark culture and introducing new generations to the dulcimer. \nTickets for concerts are available online\, with pricing set at $15 for adults\, $8 for children ages 6-12\, and $35 for a family pass\, with day-of-show tickets costing $2 more. \nOrganizers say limited workshop space remains for hammered dulcimer players\, while mountain dulcimer workshops are already sold out. \nVisitors can stay onsite at the Cabins at Dry Creek\, offering convenient access to the park’s events and amenities.
