The Top 10 finalists will perform Thursday\, July 23\, during the Cave City Watermelon Festival in Cave City Arkansas. \nThe winner will also earn the opportunity to open for country music star Sammy Kershaw during the festival. \nPerformers may use live instrumental backing including guitar\, keyboard\, or fiddle. DESCRIPTION:One of Arkansas’ largest lakeside Independence Day celebrations is returning to Greers Ferry Lake as Patriot Fest in the Bay takes place July 4 at Fairfield Bay Marina in Fairfield Bay Arkansas. \n \nThe celebration begins with the Lion’s Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the Lion’s Club followed by the Spirit of America Parade at 9 AM through Fairfield Bay. \nVisitors can enjoy Bar-B-Que at the marina beginning at 11 AM along with kayaks\, boat rentals\, and the Sugar Loaf Shuttle for a full day of family fun on Greers Ferry Lake. \nSaturday evening entertainment features live music from the Zac Dunlap Band from 7 PM until 9 PM at the marina. \nOrganizers are also offering reserved barge rides for guests wanting a premium fireworks viewing experience.
