Instructors from Batesville FD will be hosting a training event on Saturday\, December 7th at 9am at the White River Firefighter Training Center on UACCB Campus. This event is open to all local departments in the area. Training topics will include forcible entry\, search and rescues\, variations of VES\, and live fire evolutions (and possibly more). A minimum of Intro/PPE is required and you will need full turnouts\, SCBA\, and spare cylinder. The flags will be lowered to half-staff\, followed by a prayer\, then a short speech\, and a wreath placed in the river by the son of a Pearl Harbor survivor. Everyone who participates in the program proudly served in the United States Navy. The entire community is encouraged to attend.
