SUMMARY:Boots and BBQ Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:i-LIVE to Work\, Play & Dream has announced their third annual i-LIVE for Boots & BBQ fundraiser\, an evening with live music\, dancing\, themed cocktails and savory barbecue. The fundraiser will take place on Friday\, September 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Little Rock’s Rusty Tractor Vineyards. The upcoming event raises funds for specialized therapeutic scholarships benefiting local youth with cognitive\, physical or emotional challenges. \nFeaturing live music by Jon Bailey & The Heathen Revival\, a silent auction and numerous fun activities throughout the event\, “i-LIVE for Boots & BBQ is an annual fundraiser that raises scholarship funds for specialized therapeutic services\, such as aquatic therapy\, equine therapy and hippotherapy.” According to Stacy Alberson\, the chairperson for i-LIVE to Work\, Play & Dream\, “specialized therapeutic programs like these provide unmatched opportunities for individuals who may have cognitive\, emotional or physical challenges.” \nWith many insurance companies in the state not covering specialized therapeutic programs\, the funds raised by this event go directly to scholarship funds for central Arkansan families who would likely otherwise struggle to provide their child(ren) such opportunities. i-LIVE to Work\, Play & Dream hopes to raise $100\,000 at their third annual event to ensure that they can meet current scholarship needs for specialized therapy possibilities demonstrated by families at Hippos & Fish Specialized Therapy Services\, a pediatric therapy organization the non-profit has partnered with. Local community sponsors for this upcoming event include First Service Bank\, Blue Atlas Reality and James Landscape & Sprinkler. \nAbout i-LIVE to Work\, Play\, & Dream: Founded in August of 2021\, i-LIVE to Work\, Play\, & Dream is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to promoting optimism and inclusivity within the central Arkansas community by offering various opportunities to enrich the lives of children with disabilities. For more information regarding i-LIVE to Work\, Play & Dream\, their upcoming fundraiser and ticket information\, please visit the organization’s website at www.i-live.org. For media inquiries\, or to schedule an interview please reach out to Alberson\, the event coordinator and chairperson for i-LIVE to Work\, Play\, & Dream at 501-772-3211 or connect@i-live.org.
