Classes range from single-day workshops to multi-day intensives and cover topics including pruning\, soil health\, Mediterranean herbs\, container gardening\, backyard foraging\, annual herbs\, and region-specific instruction through Gardening in the Ozarks. Personalized sessions such as Garden Assessment—Planting\, Pruning & Weeding are also available. \nHerbal and natural wellness offerings include The Magic of Fermentation\, Herbal First Aid Kit\, Travel Essentials & Most-Used Remedies\, Using Essential Oils Safely & Effectively\, Build Your Herbal Apothecary\, and Growing & Using the Grey & Green Mediterranean Herbs. \nTraditional and contemporary crafts remain central to the Folk School experience. March classes include Broom Making 101\, Beginning Blacksmithing\, Intro to Bladesmithing\, Basic Tinsmithing\, Letterpress Then & Now\, Crochet a Round Rag Rug\, and Handcraft Your Own Native Wood Walking Stick with Leather Grip. Families can also take part in the popular Parent & Child Knife Making Class offered during Spring Break\, March 23–27. \nAdditional offerings include metal\, glass\, and clay classes such as Stained Glass Quilt Square\, Forming and Soldering Copper\, Hands-On Copper Flame Painting\, Pottery on a Potter’s Wheel\, Learn Pottery Hand Building\, and homesteading-focused instruction like Soap Making in the Ozarks. \nClass prices range from $75 to $700\, depending on length and materials. DESCRIPTION:Families and visitors are invited to enjoy a full day of music\, food\, and local vendors when Russellville Trade Days returns on Saturday\, March 21\, 2026\, beginning at 1 p.m. \n \nThe free\, public event will take place at 500–598 South Knoxville Avenue in Russellville and will feature a wide variety of family-friendly activities\, live entertainment\, food trucks\, and vendor booths. \nOrganizers say the event will showcase live performances from artists across Arkansas\, Tennessee\, and Memphis\, offering a diverse mix of music and entertainment throughout the afternoon and evening. Attendees can also browse local vendors offering handmade goods\, specialty items\, and small-business products. \n“This is a great opportunity for families to come out\, have fun\, and enjoy a positive community event\,” organizers said. “There will be something for everyone — from great food and music to unique shopping and entertainment.” \nLocal businesses\, including HHR Spices LLC\, are among the vendors expected to participate\, giving shoppers a chance to sample and purchase locally made products. \nAdmission is free and open to the public.
