DESCRIPTION:White County residents are encouraged to participate in the Spring County-Wide Cleanup\, hosted by White County and the City of Searcy. The event will take place from April 24th to 26th at the fairgrounds on Davis Drive in Searcy. Hours are Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.\, and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Accepted items include appliances\, furniture\, bagged trash\, and up to 10 tires off the rim. DESCRIPTION:Jacob’s Place will host its Annual Banquet on April 24 at 6 p.m. at The Box Factory in Judsonia. This year’s event celebrates the community’s impact on homeless families and honors the late Al Fowler with the first-ever “Heart for Service” Award. Table sponsorships are $500 and directly support local families in need. Individual tickets are $100. A silent auction will also be held.
