Greers Ferry Walleye Club Hosting Special Fishing Seminar in Fairfield Bay

Fishing enthusiasts from across Arkansas are invited to attend a special seminar hosted by the Greers Ferry Walleye Club on Monday, June 29, 2026, in Fairfield Bay.

The event will feature Sam Lister, a longtime Greers Ferry fishing guide, outdoorsman, and fish culturist known for his extensive knowledge of Greers Ferry Lake and its fish population. Lister has worked alongside Arkansas Game and Fish Commission biologists to help improve the lake’s fishery and has even held a world record walleye.

The seminar will take place at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center located at 110 Lost Creek Parkway. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Organizers say the evening will include fishing tips, lake history, outdoor stories, door prizes, and family-friendly fun. The event is open to anglers of all skill levels, and families are encouraged to attend.
