Mallard Masters Tournament & Expo: A Celebration of Community and Tradition in Woodruff County

Augusta, Arkansas – January 18, 2025 – The Mallard Masters Tournament and Expo is set to make waves as it brings together the best of community, competition, and culture in Woodruff County. This exciting event, hosted in Augusta, Arkansas, will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, and promises a full day of thrilling activities, live entertainment, and opportunities to connect with the heart of the Arkansas Delta.

Event Highlights

Duck Hunting Championship: Four-person teams will compete across the Arkansas Delta, showcasing their skills and checking in their ducks by noon in Augusta.

Community Expo (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM):

  • Waterfowl Lounge: Relax in a semi-private space.
  • Coffee Bar & Vendors: Explore a variety of local goods.
  • Live Entertainment: Enjoy a performance by the talented Mallory Everett.
  • Duck Gumbo Cook-Off: Witness a culinary showdown
  • Hen Party: A women’s-only lunch featuring floral, cosmetic, interior design, and jewelry demonstrations, sponsored by Cypress Meadows Estate.
  • Bart Likes: Visit Bart Likes from Ol’Bart Southern Eats as he cooks live on-site.
  • Educational Presentations: Learn from experts, including Max Sharp & his biologist discussing duck habitat, Rusty Creasey with a youth duck call demonstration, and Rick Dunn from Echo Calls.
  • Kid-Friendly Fun: Bounce houses and activities for children, sponsored by Red River Auto Group.

Tailfeathers and Tamales Dinner & Auction: Held at The Tamale Factory in Gregory, this evening event will celebrate the tournament winners and feature exclusive live auction items. Sponsored by Habitat Land Co., this dinner is a perfect way to wrap up the day’s festivities.
