Fairfield Bay Chamber Banquet Set for June 20 – Featuring Bob Connell as Guest Speaker
The Fairfield Bay Chamber of Commerce invites residents, business owners, and community leaders to its annual Chamber Awards Banquet on Friday, June 20, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center, located at 110 Lost Creek Parkway.
This special evening will feature a social hour, a delicious dinner, awards presentation, and a keynote address from Bob Connell, a distinguished figure in Arkansas media and tourism.
Bob Connell is the General Manager and CEO of Freedom Broadcasting, Inc., the parent company of several leading radio stations in Arkansas, including Cool 104.7 & 99.1 , Cowboy Country KEAZ 100.7, KWCK 99-9, The Bull 105-7, and Timeless 106.1 KFFB. With over 40 years of experience in broadcasting, Bob is widely recognized as a pioneer in live local radio and an advocate for community involvement.
He is a two-time past president of the Arkansas Broadcasters Association and currently serves as a commissioner for the Arkansas State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission. His work has earned him numerous accolades, including the Henry Award from the Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
Known as “The King of Live Remote Broadcasts,” Bob brings unmatched energy and insight to his work and is deeply involved in promoting tourism and economic development throughout North Central Arkansas.
The banquet menu includes garden salad, chicken cordon bleu, au gratin potatoes, green beans, rolls, dessert.
