A magnitude 2.2 earthquake hit 13 miles west of Maynard, Arkansas, two days ago at 10:25 AM on Thursday, June 5, 2025. The quake, occurring 12 miles deep, was also reviewed by a seismologist.

At least eight people reported feeling the tremor across the region. it was likely a gentle shake that lasted a few seconds.
