Van Buren County Sheriff’s deputies aided Arkansas State Police in responding to a motor vehicle accident in Damascus today. The incident involved a female driver from Bee Branch.
Car Lands In Middle Of Arkansas Creek Before Help Arrives
The accident occurred near the Pine Mountain Creek bridge on Hwy 65. The driver’s vehicle veered off the road, landing at the bottom of the creek.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene. The driver sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
Due to the severity of her injuries, the driver was airlifted by med flight. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
