He’s accused of grooming a minor!
Juan Lopez-Us, a 36-year-old Conway resident, was arrested on June 22, 2025, by the Conway Police Department. He faces a second-degree sexual assault charge, a Class B felony. You can view his photograph below provided by law enforcement.
Conway Man Accused Of Grooming A Teenage Girl
According to case files, the alleged incident occurred at a residence in Conway, reportedly involving a 16-year-old female victim. Police responded to a report of sexual assault on June 21, 2025, after the victim’s mother claimed to have witnessed the alleged act.
According to the affidavit, the victim’s mother saw Lopez-Us groping her sleeping daughter. The suspect allegedly admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the incident, providing inconsistent statements during police interviews.
Lopez-Us was taken into custody after returning to the residence, following a disturbance call. He is currently held without bond at Faulkner County Detention Center, awaiting his first court appearance.
The case has been forwarded to the Faulkner County Prosecutor’s Office for further review. A forensic interview with the victim reportedly confirmed prior inappropriate touching by Lopez-Us.
