They’re providing help as the dangerous heat wave hits in Conway, Arkansas.
The City of Colleges in Conway, Arkansas, has partnered with Conway Parks and Recreation to address rising temperatures. Two cooling centers, Don Owen Sports Center and McGee Center, are now open to the public.
Conway Announces Cooling Centers Amid Dangerous Heat Wave
Don Owen Sports Center is located at 10 Lower Ridge Rd, Conway, AR. McGee Center can be found at 3800 College Ave, Conway, AR.
Both centers operate from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, they are open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to use these facilities to stay safe and cool.
