Firefighters were fighting the fire for a whopping 5 hours!
On April 22, 2025, Valley Springs Fire Department near Harrison, Arkansas, responded to a shop fire in the Bellefonte area. Arriving units found a large shop engulfed in heavy flames, with fire spreading to a nearby shed.
Firefighters Spend 5 Hours Fighting Devastating Arkansas Fire
Harrison, Harmon, and Western Grove Fire Departments provided mutual aid. Crews worked together to contain the intense blaze.
A tanker shuttle operation was set up to secure a water supply. It took approximately 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters remained on scene for about four hours. One firefighter was checked for heat-related illness but was cleared by EMS.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Valley Springs Fire Department thanked all assisting departments and agencies.
