On April 25th, 2025, the El Dorado Fire Department‘s Battalion 1, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, and Engines 3 and 4 rushed to a commercial fire on North West Ave. Heavy smoke and flames engulfed Deasons Antique’s upon their arrival. You can view photographs below.
Firefighters Spent 4 Hours Battling Fire In Arkansas
Firefighters battled the blaze for four grueling hours. The intense fire left the building structurally compromised.
Due to its proximity to North West Ave, the unstable structure posed a significant risk. Authorities made the call to demolish it immediately.
Construction equipment was brought in to safely tear down the remains. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
El Dorado residents mourn the loss of the beloved antique store. The community awaits further updates from officials.
