On April 6, 2025, a utility pole at the intersection of 107 and Club in Sherwood caught fire due to a wiring issue, according to the Sherwood Police Department. The incident has disrupted power to several circuits in the area. You can view a photograph of the pole below.

Electrical Fire Reported In Sherwood Arkansas

Crews from the North Little Rock Electric Department are on the scene to address the damage. They confirmed the pole must be replaced before power can be restored.

To ensure safety during repairs, the department had to drop a couple of circuits, affecting local customers. They are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.

The Sherwood Police Department expressed gratitude for the community’s patience during the restoration process. They expect power to be fully restored once
