A disturbing incident in Conway, Arkansas
A 40-year-old man was arrested on April 8, 2025, after an incident at a local automotive dealership. Rodney Charles Williams faces charges of first-degree criminal mischief, a Class D felony. Arrest details were confirmed by Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office.
Conway Man Arrested After Incident Reported At Car Dealership
According to case files, the incident occurred at a dealership in Conway, where Williams allegedly smashed a vehicle’s window. A witness reported hearing a loud “boom” and saw Williams fleeing the scene.
The damaged vehicle, a 2025 Hyundai Tucson, sustained a shattered back passenger window and interior door damage. The estimated repair cost is around $2,000, according to the dealership’s general manager.
Officers detained Williams after he returned to the scene, following a witness’s description and photos. He was taken into custody by the Conway Police Department.
The witness, John Adam, provided photos and a statement to the police. Officers also documented the damage with bodycam footage and photos.
Williams was transported to Faulkner County Detention Center Unit 2. He is not currently out on bond, and this is not considered a habitual offense.
The affidavit for his arrest warrant was filed on April 9, 2025, in Faulkner County Circuit Court. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
