A car burst into flames in Cabot, Arkansas after a devastating car crash.
A deadly crash occurred on March 13, 2025, at 8:58 p.m. It happened at the intersection of E. Cleland Rd and McNew Rd in Cabot, Arkansas. Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has released an initial report about what happened.
Car Bursts Into Flames in Arkansas After Crash
Chay T. Heggie, a 40-year-old woman from Vilonia, was driving a 2023 Kia Sportage. She was killed in the accident.
Heggie’s vehicle was traveling west on E. Cleland Rd when it crossed the centerline. It collided with a 2007 GMC Sierra heading east.
After the impact, the Kia fishtailed and veered off the road. It struck a tree head-on, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
The Kia then caught fire following the crash. The incident marked a tragic loss on the rural roadway.
The GMC Sierra’s driver was not identified in the initial report. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
