Young Arkansas Man Reportedly Stole Over $35,000
According to case files, the alleged victim, Damian Clarke, discovered his account drained after his card declined on January 1, 2025. His mother, Carla White, reported that Jackson made 307 unauthorized purchases totaling $29,400.97 between October and December 2024.
Investigators linked Jackson to the theft through bank records and a search warrant on Green Dot Bank. The evidence showed $35,644 in “Top Up” transactions to Jackson’s Apple Cash account, directly tied to Clarke’s Arvest Bank account.
Jackson was reportedly identified by a store employee for an unauthorized purchase at O’Reilly’s in Conway, now faces charges including theft of property and nonfinancial identity fraud. Additional charges of terroristic act and criminal mischief were added after his arrest.
Clarke’s family recovered $32,756.22 from Arvest Bank but remains liable for $9,683.23. The affidavit, sworn by Investigator Nathan Nicodemus, convinced Judge H.G. Braswell to issue an arrest warrant on February 13, 2025.
Jackson, booked under #202500727, is held by Faulkner County authorities with a court date set for April 14, 2025. The case highlights the growing issue of digital theft among young adults in Arkansas.
