Jose Keegan Terence Ezquivel, a 19-year-old white male from Conway, Arkansas, was arrested on March 13, 2025, at 7:56 p.m. He faces charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and terroristic threatening stemming from an incident in Greenbrier. Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of the suspect you can view below.

According to case files, the alleged incident occurred on February 26, 2023, when Ezquivel allegedly pulled a gun on someone after an argument. That person was then reportedly dragged from a vehicle and forced west toward Horseshoe Mountain, according to police reports.
Witnesses say Ezquivel used a handgun to threaten the said person. A video surfaced showing the person on his knees, with text claiming he was “held at gunpoint…”
The Greenbrier Police Department launched an investigation after Roland Gifford, Flake’s stepfather, reported the video on March 2, 2023. Interviews corroborated the violent encounter.
An affidavit for Ezquivel’s arrest was filed on March 15, 2023, by Officer Lucas Embarton. A judge approved the warrant on March 20, 2023, citing probable cause for the felony charges.
Ezquivel was taken into custody by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office nearly two years later. He is now held, awaiting trial for the alleged crimes.
