A devastating crash has taken the life of a young rider in Arkansas.

On March 18, 2025, at 9:35 a.m., a tragic accident occurred at 3000 Country Club in Fort Smith, Sebastian County. Paul Edward Scott, a 60-year-old local resident, was involved in the deadly crash. Details were released by Fort Smith Police Department.

Arkansas Man Flew Over Handlebars In Fatal Scooter Accident

Scott was driving an X-Quad 3000 westbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The crash resulted in him flipping over the handlebars, leading to fatal injuries.

The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident. Authorities have not indicated any environmental factors contributing to the incident.

Scott, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased following the crash. His body was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center, where he was also transported for treatment prior to his passing.

Emergency services responded promptly, but Scott could not be saved. The investigation into the cause of the crash continues as authorities work to determine what led to the loss of control.
