A woman tried to drive around a parked truck in Arkansas only to lose her life.
It was an early-morning accident.
The incident occurred on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 165 on January 31, 2025, at approximately 4:50 AM. Arkansas State Police have released details after the devastating accident.
Woman Dies After Trying To Get Around Parked Truck
Sherry Meadows, 51, from Texarkana was killed in the crash.
Meadows was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry. There was an unoccupied 2005 Kenworth semi-truck parked on the side of a road.,
Meadows reportedly tried to maneuver around the parked Kenworth semi-truck when it was struck by another semi-truck.
At the time of the crash, the road was wet and the sky was cloudy.
The incident took place in Lonoke City, Lonoke County.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal collision.
