He was arrested on February 6th, 2025.
Allegations involve multiple lawn mowers over a period of time.
Michael Lee Pullie, a 59-year-old resident of Little Rock, has been charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing merchandise from Lowe’s in Conway. He would go into the store with a shopping cart and walk out with expensive items without paying. At one point, he reportedly walked out with a lawn mower valued at $459.
Multiple Incidents Lead to Arrest
According to case files, investigator Matthew Hugen from the Conway Police Department reviewed video evidence provided by Lowe’s Asset Protection. He says it confirms Pullie’s involvement:
“I reviewed the video footage..”
This event was one of several thefts Pullie is accused of committing at the same location. Even worse, Pullie is accused of stealing other lawn mowers as well:
“Pullie has stolen other Toro mowers from Lowe’s in other reports.”
Pullie’s prior convictions elevate his charges to a Class D felony, as he has been found guilty of similar crimes in the past. This classification could lead to a significant increase in his sentence if convicted.
According to court filings in Faulkner County Circuit Court, Pullie faces charges under ARK. CODE ANN. § 5-36-103(b)(3)(A) for theft of property valued between $1,000 and $5,000. The legal proceedings are set to continue, highlighting the consequences of habitual criminal behavior.
Please note: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
