On February 11, 2025 around 11:30pm, Searcy Police attempted a traffic stop on a beige Ford F-150 on Beebe Capps Blvd. near Jimmy Carr DR.

The driver, later identified as Jeffery Holloway (59 years of age / Searcy, AR) refused to pull over leading the Searcy Officer onto several other roadways and parking lots.

As the pursuit unfolded, the Searcy Officer noticed Holloway throwing plastic bags out his window which he noticed contained an off-white crystal-like substance.

Holloway eventually came to a stop on the back side of the Searcy Apartments on N. Pine Street. Holloway was taken into custody without further incident.

Holloway was transported to the White County Jail for booking on:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) greater than 10 Grams (5-64-419) B Felony
  • Fleeing in a Vehicle (5-54-125) D Felony
  • Tampering with Physical Evidence (5-53-111) D Felony
  • Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime (5-74-105) B Felony
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Methamphetamine) (5-64-443) D Felony

Holloway was also issued citations for the following:

  • Failing to Obey a Stop Sign (27-51-601) x5
  • Failing to Stop at a Red Light (27-52-107) x2
  • Driving the Wrong Way on a One Way Street (27-50-302) x1
  • Speeding 1-15 MPH Over (27-51-201) x1
  • Careless and Prohibited Driving (27-51-104) x1
  • Turn Signal Requirement (27-51-403) x1
  • Driving Left of Center (27-51-301) x1
  • No Seatbelt (27-37-702) x1
  • No Liability Insurance (27-22-104) x1
  • Driving on Suspended License (27-16-303) x1
