Fire Burns Through Roof Of Arkansas Home As Firefighters Launch “Fire Attack”
Around 1:30 a.m., LFFD was called to assist Avoca Fire Department with a potential chimney fire on Walnut Valley Road.
Upon arrival, they found the fire had spread beyond the chimney, heavily involving the roof.
LFFD deployed multiple units including Tender 1121, Engine 1112, and Squad 1152 for water, fire attack, and overhaul. Support also came from Rogers and Beaver Lake Fire Departments, with no injuries reported.
As the scene was being cleared around 5:30 a.m., LFFD responded to another call for a residential carbon monoxide alarm. The alarm was due to a faulty detector, with no actual carbon monoxide detected.
