A man has been arrested after an alleged knife fight involving a minor in Batesville, Arkansas
It was a domestic dispute. The father was arrested after a struggle involving a knife with the son and wife.
On Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, Christopher Bethel was arrested at 7:50 PM following an altercation at his residence. His wife, Kameron Bethel, was reportedly stabbed in the leg during an incident involving a knife struggle with their 15-year-old son.
Police Make Arrest in Batesville
According to case files, police were dispatched to the scene in Batesville, Arkansas after reports of a domestic disturbance. Kameron was immediately transported to White River Medical Center for treatment.
Investigations revealed conflicting accounts of the event. Initially, Kameron claimed the stabbing was accidental, but later suggested it occurred during a struggle over a knife with Christopher.
A search warrant was issued for the Bethel residence, allowing authorities to look for electronic devices that could contain evidence. This included computers, cell phones, and cameras, based on the frequent history of domestic disputes at the address.
The warrant was executed with the aim to find any stored media that might provide further insight into the incident. Christopher Bethel now faces charges of Aggravated Assault.
