A devastating accident in Arkansas.

On February 1, 2025, at approximately 1:15 pm, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of S. Promenade Blvd and W Walnut Creek Pkwy in Rogers, Benton County. Details were released by Rogers Police Department.

Mariah Chappell, a 30-year-old resident of Springdale, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Chappell was riding a 2022 moped south on S. Promenade Blvd when she lost control.

The loss of control led to Chappell falling off her moped and striking a speed limit pole.

She was transported to Mercy Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
