On February 5th, 2025, a school bus carrying 51 students veered off Germania Road near Alexander, Arkansas. Details were confirmed by Alexander Fire Department. You can see a photograph of the scene below.
Bus Veered Off Road With Over 50 Passengers Inside
Engine 37 from Alexander Fire/Rescue was among the first responders at the scene.
They assisted Northeast Fire in evaluating and safely evacuating the students from the bus.
Personnel from Northeast, Alexander, and Pafford EMS collaborated effectively to ensure all children were safe.
Representatives from Bryant School were present to aid in reuniting students with their parents.
The incident underscores the vital importance of inter-departmental cooperation among local fire services.
