Searcy, Arkansas has been awarded a large grant to make the city prosper!
Forward Searcy has been granted $314,165 by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission to enhance Forward Searcy Site 1 on Veterans Boulevard. This investment aims to make the site more attractive to businesses, promoting job creation and economic growth.
New Money Coming Into Searcy, Arkansas
Darrell Welch of Forward Searcy emphasized the importance of the grant, stating, “These funds will enable us to prepare the site to meet the standards businesses look for.”
The Arkansas Site Development Program supports such initiatives by funding necessary site improvements like drainage and grading. Mayor Mat Faulkner expressed gratitude, noting, “This enhances Searcy’s appeal for new business ventures.”
The City Council had previously endorsed the site’s development for economic purposes. Forward Searcy’s partnership with the city is a strategic move to bolster the local economy through industry support and business recruitment.
