Hundreds of residents in Searcy, Arkansas were left without power.
Local electric company Entergy confirmed that a falling tree destroyed some equipment. It would take only a few hours to fix the problem. In the meantime, residents were left without power.
Falling Tree Leads To Power Outage In Searcy, Arkansas
A representative for Entergy confirmed they knew about the outage:
“We are aware of this outage.”
They revealed that at least 266 residents were effected.
The power outage happened at around 7:00pm on November 4th. It was estimated that the issue would be resolved at around 9:30 that same night.
Although they sent out an email apologizing for the issue, they did not reveal the cause:
“We are working diligently to restore your power as quickly and safely as possible.”
