Officer Rams Fleeing Motorcycle During Chase
On November 1st, Harrison Police attempted to stop 29-year-old Robert Culver Jr., who then fled at high speeds. Culver dangerously maneuvered through traffic, reaching speeds over 80 mph.
Police tried to intercept him at various points, but Culver evaded, even driving into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 65. The chase ended when an officer rammed Culver’s motorcycle, leading to his arrest.
Culver was charged with felony fleeing, reckless driving, and traffic violations, held on a $50,000 bond. This wasn’t his first run-in; six weeks prior, he faced similar charges after fleeing with a child on his bike.
